For many years Families gathered around to cheer on the turtles as they raced across the line. The former event is what Gala days was built around. Today, we find other ways to keep the traditions alive!

A note from our president

That wraps up Gala Days 2023. I would like to thank again all the generous sponsors and my amazing volunteers. Wouldn’t have happened without all of you. Numerous positive comments towards the music and the meals and events it was an awesome weekend.
But, on that note I am announcing that I have stepped down from my position as President. There is also a few others on the committee that have other commitments and are also stepping down. We do have a replacement already for the position of President. I can let you know that Tessa de Almeida has stepped up to take over. She has already let me know some of her ideas. And they sound great. But she will be looking for new committee members to help her out. If you are interested please get in touch. Again thank you all. Please stay tuned for Gala Days 2024. It’s gonna be a big one. 50 years of Gala Days next year.
